Aoi Oribe - Myself Yourself

Already made a sketch of her before, but here's the full color version!
I really enjoyed to draw this one, but that Beetle was almost a nightmare to draw right.

Fortunately did it turn out very good and I'm pleased with it.

Aoi usually wears a glasses, but I decided to give her contact lenses to give her a prettier look. She loves to read, is a great cook and she's also very lively during the show. She reminds me a little bit to one of my little sisters with that lively part, but Aoi can talk ages when it comes to books (which reminds me to my sisters as well )

As I told by the sketch is that white '69 VW Beetle/Bug her car. It's restored by me, imported from Germany and British headlights are installed to make it street legal for the Japanese roads.

That 'Will you read my book' comes from a Beatles song called 'Paperback Writer'. I love The Beatles, and Paperback Writer is written by John Lennon and Paul Mc Cartney. It's released with the single called 'Paperback Writer/Rain' back in 1966 and it's one of my very favorite Beatles songs.

Totally spend: 1 week, everything turned out very nicely and I really like it.
