Europe's very first import from Mitsubishi

1979 Colt-Mitsubishi Lancer A140
Once I've seen the prefacelifted version (A70) on a car convention, but there are just a hand full of these left here in Holland. (how much is unknown)

I've seen 4 of these during my time in Greece, but this featured one (which was parked in the garden of a house) is the only one I managed to capture.

About the unknown number of these Lancers, the national Mitsubishi club counted 8 A70 gen Lancers that were still running around in Holland. I've read that 4 more of them were found in a barn on an abandoned farm in the north of Holland, and recently did one emerge on one of the Dutch islands when an elderly resident of 102 years old passed away (all of these barnfinds were original Dutch registered since the 70's, so no private imports)
I have a hunch that there are more of these Lancers are hidden somewhere here in Holland, but the question is when they will be discovered.

I personally think that this Lancer generation is the prettiest of all!
